Lefse Making
The group meets to make lefse and socialize. Excess lefse is sold at Hosanna with proceeds donated to ELCA World Hunger. The fellowship activity is open to all Hosanna members (young and old). Non-member friends and relatives are also welcome. The group meets once a year on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving.
Empty Nest Sitter Service
The members of this group provide a sitter service for Hosanna member’s children on one evening each month during the year, except in December and the summer months. Families may bring their children to Hosanna and Empty Nest Hosanna members will service them from 6pm-10pm. There are games, movies, snacks, and crafts. This service has been provided the 2nd Friday day of the month.
Hilltoppers
Hilltoppers is an open group of ladies and men age 55 and older. We get together for catered lunch and conversation the 2nd Tuesday of each month. A donation is collected to cover the cost of the meal. Please contact the church office by the weekend prior if you are interested in attending.
Lenten Soup Supper
Lenten soup suppers are served for six (6) Wednesdays beginning with Ash Wednesday. The supper includes soup and bread provided by Hosanna members. Hosanna members also help serve and clean up. The suppers precede the Wednesday services during the season of Lent.
