This is the vision or direction we believe the Lords wants this ministry to travel. Hosanna has a great mission statement; however, it is wonderful to have a statement that is specific to youth ministry.
Why a purpose statement ? It is important to know the why's. The youth programs and events should be done for a reason and not just done to remain busy. Everything we do should be Christ-centered and have a specific purpose. Of course this doesn't mean that we don't or won't have fun; it simply means that we are about a specific purpose.
Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."
I.M.P.A.C.T. is a powerful word. It is easy to remember and really speaks to the heart of what our mission is. We see Jesus' love impacting the youth of Hosanna, the youth making an impact on the church, their families, friends and even their community.
