Hosanna’s Pantry is a monthly satellite food shelf of Channel One in Rochester.
It’s open on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:30 am to families and individuals who are food insecure.
Families in need may contact the church office, 507-285-0092 for more information. An ID is required.
(During November and December Hosanna’s Pantry is open on the 3rd Saturday of the month due to the holiday weekends.)
Anyone can work at Hosanna’s Pantry each month. It’s a great way to share God’s love with families in need and work together as a family. There’s something for all ages to do. Children as young as 5 are invited to help with their parents. It’s also a great way for high school students to earn service hours.
At 10:00 am on the Friday before each the Pantry opening, help is needed to unload the food delivered from Channel One and then organize and display it on tables. On Saturdays during the Pantry opening, help is needed to greet families, help them shop, carry out groceries or clean up afterwards. Each month, there’s a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center or you may contact Barb Anderson, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 507-951-6848 about how to get involved.
