The ELCA has 266 missionaries around our globe. Through them we participate in God’s on-going reconciling mission by proclamation and service in 48 countries. Since 1988 Mark and Linda have served at Selian Lutheran Hospital providing medical care and education to more than 30 Maasai and Waarusha villages near Arusha, Tanzania. Many of these people would not have access to health care were it not for this hospital. Recently Mark has led the establishment of Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre, a hospital serving Arusha itself. By signing up for a week in the mission field you committing to pray for Mark and Linda and to donate something towards their ministry. By your actions you are helping Mark and Linda, both spiritually and financially. Below are links to information to help during your week in the Mission Field. Many of these point to pdf files.
