Here
at Hosanna we are focused on mission. We started as a mission congregation
years ago. Today we are in the process of adding on to our building
so that we can better support our mission
and ministry here in Rochester. This month I urge you to get ready
to take a walk on the WILD side. It is time for our mission emphasis
to go GLOBAL. We have companion synods in Tanzania and Columbia which
need our help! These ministries are vastly different than our own.
In Columbia our fellow Lutherans are being persecuted and even martyred
for the faith. Staying alive is a real concern for them.
In Tanzania the facilities in use are 50 or more years old. Renovation
and providing reliable housing and infrastructure are the pressing needs.
Keep your eyes and ears open for information about the Synod's WALKING
THREE BY THREE campaign to discover how you too can take a walk on
the WILD SIDE.
