Women’s Morning Bible Study

Philippians Bible Study
First Saturday of the month

This “co-ed” Bible Study is meeting monthly, on the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 am. It uses the Life Application Bible Study series. This fall the study is on Philippians, the letter of Paul written while he was in prison. It encourages Christians to be joyful in every circumstance, even when things are going badly. Christ still reigns and we still know him, so we can rejoice at all times. There are study booklets available in the church office at no cost. Interested members and friends are welcome to join at any time. Coffee will be on. Call the office, 285-0092, with questions.
Young Mom’s Bible Study
Third Tuesday of the month
9:30 am
Young Moms meet for Bible Study the third Tuesday of each month at church. The Bible study is taken from the Lutheran Woman Today magazine. Copies are available. Moms take turns leading the study and bringing snacks. A special bonus for this group is that childcare is provided by church volunteers. Anyone is welcome! Book Discussion Group

Hannah Bible Study
2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month

This daytime women's Bible study group meets at Hosanna from 1:00-2:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month beginning September 9th. New participants are welcome! The study this year will be Kingdom Living - the Parables of Jesus. Important passages from the New Testament of the Bible provide a framework for discussing relevant issues of faith for today's small group participants. Learn how Jesus' parables apply to your life. All are welcome!
Men’s Breakfast Bible Study
2nd and 4th Fridays of each month
6:30 am
Attention men of Hosanna! We meet at church on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at 6:30 am. for fellowship, a great breakfast and a Bible Study. Coffee is ready at 6:15 am. This is a wonderful way to begin the day and by 7:30 am we are on our way to work or back home. New members are always welcome and if you can only attend once a month or once a year you are welcome!
Sunday Evening Bible Study
Sundays Starting October 4th
6:00 – 7:30 pm
All interested adults are invited to a Bible study on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, beginning on Sunday, October 4th. Large group presentation is led by the pastors, followed by small group discussion with other participants. Our studies for October through January will be the latter letters of the New Testament: Hebrews, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1, 2, 3 John and Jude. Addressing a wide range of concerns in the early church, these books provide us with a variety of stimulating ideas and challenging topics to consider together. The cost for the student book this year is $10. Look for a sign-up at the Welcome Center during September, or contact the pastors for more information.
Lectionary Lunch Bible Study
Thursdays Starting September 17th
12:00 – 12:45 pm
Pastor Meiers and Pastor Rist will lead an informal “lectionary lunch” Bible study beginning on September 17th with Genesis, Chapter 1. The pastors will be preaching on the core stories and key verses of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible Study will follow these texts each week. Bring your lunch and join in the discussion.
